
ADMISSIONS
COURSES OFFERED
National Certificate in Agriculture Production (NCAP)
This is a full time modular course taught in two academic years.
Requirements
Uganda Certificate of Education (Minimum of 3 passes or one credit pass without restrictions on the subjects and year of sitting) OR its equivalent.
A candidate holding at least a pass Junior vocational Certificate(JVC) OR Uganda Community polytechnic certificate(UCPC) in any of the following fields of study: Agriculture, Building construction, Carpentry and Joinery, Automotive mechanics, OR any other equivalent certificate obtained from a recognized institution.
National diploma in Crop production (DCP)
This is a two year English taught course
Requirements

The Uganda Certificate of Education(O'level) or its equivalent, with at least a credit Pass in Biology.

The Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education(A'level) with at least principal pass in Biology.
OR
-
The Uganda Certificate of Education(O'level) or its equivalent, with at least a credit Pass in Biology.

A credit pass in Tropical Agriculture from a recognized Agricultural Training Institution.
NOTE: A student who has a certificate from a National Agricultural College or has passed all the modules taught in the 1st level can join the second year and spend only one academic year on the program.
Certificate in Crop Production and Business Management (CCPB) under USDP
A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the program when he/she meets the following requirements:
The Uganda Certificate of Education(O'level) with a score of at least passes in essential Biology, Chemistry, or Agriculture, English, Math, Home economics.
OR
Uganda Community Polytechnic Certificate in Agriculture
National Diploma in Animal Production and Management (DAP)
This is a two year English taught course
Requirements

The Uganda Certificate of Education(O'level) or its equivalent, with at least a credit Pass in Biology.

The Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education(A'level) with at least principal pass in Biology.
OR

The Uganda Certificate of Education(O'level) or its equivalent, with at least a credit Pass in Biology.
