CROP PRODUCTION
A variety of crops are grown at the institute e.g. maize, beans, coffee, bananas, soya beans, irish potatoes, fia(bogoya), gonja, pineapple, passion fruits.
Students are heavily involved in the production process.
Mainly, the produced crops are for staff and student consumption.
In other cases silage is made from them to help feed the livestock.
